Most flight crews get at least one day of training in a pool in swimsuits for that rarest of airline disasters, a ditching. If you think that sounds fun, you're wrong. Among other things, you have to demonstrate that you're a strong swimmer and that you're capable of climbing into and out of one of those inflatable evacuation chutes, which become life rafts in the water.

A unique deluxe resort, Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is built around a private animal reserve. Three separate savannas encompass 33 acres and are home to over 200 mammals and birds (three dozen species). The savannas are lit up each night with a simulated hull moon. Inside the lobby, look for artifacts collected from or inspired by African tribes. African cast members are happy to share about their home countries.
