Travel articles Tropicana The Tropicana sat alone on the intersection of Tropicana and Las Vegas Boulevard back in 1957. The location has since become much more popular, with Excalibur, New York New York, and the huge MGM adjacent. The pool also boasts one of the few floating blackjack tables in town. Take Me Home, Italian Roads I've just completed a jaunt along Mexico's Mayan Riviera (more on that soon), and although I still have another month or so on the road, word of new openings in my adopted country, Italy, has been tempting me home. If you are heading that way this year, here are some places that you, too, should keep on the radar.
Disney's Coronado Springs A moderately-priced resort near Disney's Animal Kingdom, the Coronado Springs Resort is inspired by the Southwest. Although it has the largest convention center on Disney property, this resort is also great for families with its beautiful grounds and water slide. The resort also boasts a large man-made lake around which the guest accomodations are situated. This can make for some long walks, depending on where you are staying, so be prepared.
