Travel articles Tropicana The Tropicana sat alone on the intersection of Tropicana and Las Vegas Boulevard back in 1957. The location has since become much more popular, with Excalibur, New York New York, and the huge MGM adjacent. The pool also boasts one of the few floating blackjack tables in town. Airfare Specials this Week I actually said "wow" out loud when I saw the sheer depth of airfare specials available for sale this week. Some even have travel dates that extend to summer and... Pop Century Disney's newest value hotel, the Pop Century Resort, plays around with pop culture icons from every decade of the 20th century. The resort is decorated with giant versions of memorable items like the Rubix Cube and a Mickey telephone. BoardWalk Inn The Boardwalk is a destination all to itself, with restaurants, clubs, midway games and a great view. The pool is themed to a 1930s Atlantic seacoast resort, with a roller coaster-style water slide ending in a giant clown face. There is also a carousel pool bar and whimsical elephant fountains. A boat ferries guests to nearby Epcot and MGM theme parks; alternatively, you can take a short walk to the International Gateway and dine at any of Epcot's World Showcase restaurants.
