Although it has the largest convention center on Disney property, this resort is also great for families with its beautiful grounds and water slide. The resort also boasts a large man-made lake around which the guest accomodations are situated. This can make for some long walks, depending on where you are staying, so be prepared. Disney's Yacht and Beach Club are sister resorts located a short walk from Epcot's World Showcase. Many consider the pool area (Stormalong Bay), with its shipwreck theming, huge water slide and sandy bottom pool to be the best of any Disney resort. A boat services Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios theme parks (buses are available for transportation to the other parks). Restaurants and entertainment at the Boardwalk are also conveniently close by.
