Travel articles Pray the Devil Back to Hell Last week I headed to Tribeca to see Pray the Devil Back to Hell, a documentary that chronicles the truly remarkable story of the Liberian women (both Christian and Muslim) who came together to end a bloody, decades-old civil war.
Stanley Hotel The Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, Colorado, which inspired Steven King's 'The Shining,' has a few ghosts of its own. Disney's Wilderness Lodge Set in Yosemite at the turn of the century, Disney's Wilderness Lodge uses trees, carvings and even a geyser to transport you from the middle of Florida to the Northwest. This Deluxe resort is a boat ride from the Magic Kingdom, and has a swimming pool with a short water slide, plus a small beach on Bay Lake. BoardWalk Inn The Boardwalk is a destination all to itself, with restaurants, clubs, midway games and a great view. The pool is themed to a 1930s Atlantic seacoast resort, with a roller coaster-style water slide ending in a giant clown face. There is also a carousel pool bar and whimsical elephant fountains. A boat ferries guests to nearby Epcot and MGM theme parks; alternatively, you can take a short walk to the International Gateway and dine at any of Epcot's World Showcase restaurants. Pop Century Disney's newest value hotel, the Pop Century Resort, plays around with pop culture icons from every decade of the 20th century. The resort is decorated with giant versions of memorable items like the Rubix Cube and a Mickey telephone. |
